'Psyche' Series

This series is an invitation for the viewer to look past the surface of the face, and into the labyrinth of the soul. These faces—void of literal sight—invite us to look inward, to confront the facets of ourselves we evade. 'PSYCHE' is a journey into the collective spirit and soul, the totality of human essence, encapsulating moments of vulnerability, resilience, and haunting introspection. In these portraits, the mind and spirit collide, revealing truths about our inner worlds that are often silenced or ignored. Leaving the eyes completely white, devoid of "life", is a deliberate choice by the artist to force the viewer to question what validates our humanity; this strips the portraits of individual identity, shifting the focus from specific personalities to a more profound exploration of emotion and psyche. White eyes evoke a sense of detachment, as though the subjects are both seeing and unseen, existing in a liminal space between reality and introspection. This series isn’t merely about observing; it’s about feeling—stepping into the raw spaces of the mind, spirit, and essence, where the most vulnerable parts of humanity reside, unseen yet deeply felt.
