Hand built with the aid of some unorthodox tools, I spent a total of two weeks sculpting this piece. Because this piece was never fired, the clay inevitably split into two, along the mid face. While initially flustered by the inconvenient mishap, I decided to embrace the fault as a natural part of the creative process. Thus, this piece to me reflects the duality of strength and fragility in out art: an undeviating representation of humanity.
