An ironic title for such a kinetic composition, 'Inertia' is a personal exploration of feeling adrift, uncertain about which direction to take in life. It's a testimony for those who also feel they must follow the ebb and flow of their surroundings, moving with the current. The creative process, as always, was spontaneous and intuitive; I started with loose charcoal sketches to map out the forms, gradually building depth. From there, I transitioned into acrylic paint, layering base colors and refining them into the mosaic-like textures that give the piece its vibrancy and movement.
